... Short Bio Andrew Suton, Director
I have been a videographer and photographing underwater for over 10 years, though not always in the public sector, and diving for over 14 years. With Dr Martin Guard I took a keen interest in Southern Tanzania and the Marine Park at Mnazi Bay and Msimbati peninsula and we created the Eco2 Dive Centre.
I have worked closely with the Rwandan Genocide charity SURF (Survivors Fund) since 2000 both here in the UK and in Rwanda as a photographer and videographer, and have gained a good working knowledge of the country and surrounding regions, as well as a good relationship with the Rwandese.
I have also worked with Spafax Airline Network as a destination videographer, enabling me to work with Royal Jordanian, Emirates, Qatar and Sri Lankan Airways.
Back in Europe I am a director of NiceImages, a photographic and video studio, with offices in London and Madrid, where we shoot primarily for the Internet: product and fashion as well as producing video work for evolving websites.
My passion for computers and cameras has been the core of my career , and I consider myself new to this medium. Since discovering the underwater world, I have explored tmany possibilities of RAW, and currently I am interested in the possibilities of HDR (High Dynamic Range) images as well as "Faux HDR", this I can apply to both video and stills and can happily resurrect almost lifeless images to a level of presentation, as well as natural colour.
We all see things differently.
